Alex Burrows is making me reconsider my irrational hate for the Vancouver Canucks. Think it’s more a case of ‘It’s not the team I hate, it’s their twins’.
And one for the ages:
I create a lot of stuff at the ole j-o-b that never sees the light of day. Gonna start posting some of the denied versions simply cause they are usually the version I like most.
First up, this is a straight-forward photo collage for Nike Canada. This was turned down because they just wanted to showcase certain athletes, fair enough. I ended up p-shoppin’ some busts (heads not boobs) together and it went over like gangbusters. I still like this, a little more abstract. There was type in that black triangle but I removed it because it was for internal eyes only. Trust, it was kerned tight.


Not content to be a mere spectator and loyal red, sparkie blogs and podcasts about TFC for Red Nation. Canadian football (yup, you read that right) is in desperate need of some attention and RN is poised to soon deliver a lot of great content for the true north strong and free. Stay tuned for more. Here are some randoms I whipped up in my spare time this week for work. Didn’t have a lot of time to execute so I scoured the internet for free clip-art. Usually freebies are pretty cruddy, but after an exhaustive search I was able to grab a few good ones and drew out the rest. I was asked to illustrate the following phrases:
